The Royal Dar—"The Royal Doorway"—is Vancouver Island's premier Indian restaurant, relocating to the beautiful mid-Island town of Duncan in New Year of 2012.
Run by Gurb and Kam Gill, the restaurant has a reputation for high quality Indian cuisine with loyal customers from Victoria in the south to Nanaimo to the north. The chefs are from northern India so every dish is created with care and the best ingredients.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: DECEMBER 31st
Our last day in Ladysmith will be Saturday, December 31st. We will be closed on December 25th and 26th.
Early in the New Year of 2012, we will be relocating to the heart of Duncan into a 103 year old Victorian building, complete with covered porch and outdoor dining patio. We'll have exciting new dishes and menus, and will be open for lunch and dinner.
